Industrial Overhead Power Distribution
Flexible overhead power for equipment, workstations, and assembly lines. USA TrackBusway provides modular overhead power systems designed for industrial environments.
Plug-in Track Busway kits allow equipment, workstations, and assembly lines to be powered overhead while adapting easily as layouts change.
- Drop-down overhead power for industrial equipment and workstations
- Three-phase overhead power for manufacturing lines
- Breakered plug-in power drops for flexible layouts
- Future-proof power distribution without conduit or rewiring
- Lighting supported as a secondary load on the same system
Power Drop Options
PowerDrops plug directly into the Track Busway system and deliver power exactly where it is needed along the run.

Flexible Overhead Power for Industrial Spaces
USA TrackBusway is a continuous, open-channel, plug-in busway system designed for flexible overhead power distribution in industrial environments.
For applications that require local disconnects, equipment protection, or code-driven point-of-use control, breakered outlet boxes can be added directly to the overhead track. These plug-in units provide integrated circuit protection at the drop location, allowing industrial equipment to be powered safely and reconfigured without additional conduit, junction boxes, or downtime.
In most industrial projects, Track Busway is specified first as an overhead branch-circuit power distribution system, allowing equipment layouts to change without rewiring. By suspending power above the floor, facilities can adapt to new machinery, automation, and production workflows while avoiding downtime and unnecessary electrical labor. Lighting is typically added later as a secondary load using the same overhead infrastructure.
Industrial Power Applications
-
Overhead Drop-Down Power for Industrial Equipment & Workstations
Modular power drops deliver localized, point-of-use electricity for tools, equipment, and workstations. Plug-in tap-off points allow circuits to be added or repositioned without rewiring, minimizing downtime in active industrial environments.
-
Three-Phase Overhead Power for Manufacturing Plants
Three-phase Track Busway supports higher-load industrial equipment, conveyors, and production machinery. Overhead distribution allows power to follow changing layouts while reducing conduit, homeruns, and long-term electrical labor.
-
Breakered Power Drops for Industrial Machinery & Code Compliance
Breakered power drops provide protected, code-compliant power at the point of use. Ideal for tools and equipment requiring local disconnects, they support safer operations while maintaining system flexibility.
Flexible Power Distribution for Industrial Tasks
Industrial facilities benefit greatly from agility when they want to change layouts, equipment, and processes. Unlike traditional systems, which demand costly rewiring and extended downtime, Track Busway offers plug-and-play modularity for fast and efficient adaptations.
Engineered for Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Assembly-Line Environments
Built for durability, Track Busway is made using 12-gauge steel, capable of withstanding tough industrial environments. You can use it in places such as:
- Assembly Lines
- Research Facilities
- Warehouse
- Automotive Facilities
Future-Proof Power Distribution for Manufacturing & Assembly Lines
USA TrackBusway is engineered to support both current production needs and long-term expansion across industrial facilities:
- 40A and 225A Track Busway Systems:
USA TrackBusway supports 40-amp and 225-amp per-phase systems in both single-phase and three-phase configurations, allowing facilities to match power capacity to equipment demand without overbuilding infrastructure. - Flexible Voltage & Circuit Access: On three-phase systems, 1-pole, 2-pole, and 3-pole plug-in units allow different voltages to be tapped directly from the same overhead busway — supporting a mix of tools, machinery, and equipment along a single run.
- Reconfigurable Layouts & Intersections: Modular joiners and intersections allow overhead power layouts to evolve as production lines change, keeping power aligned with equipment while minimizing conduit, homeruns, and future labor costs.
For higher-capacity industrial environments, the 225A Track Busway system extends the same modular architecture while supporting larger electrical loads. Manufacturing plants, assembly lines, and logistics facilities can distribute higher-amperage overhead power while still maintaining the ability to add or reposition plug-in units as equipment layouts evolve.
Plug-and-Play Lighting for Industrial Facilities & Warehouses
USA TrackBusway® enables plug-and-play industrial lighting using the same overhead infrastructure as equipment power, eliminating dedicated conduit runs and reducing installation time with pre-wired fixtures.
Flexibility with Industrial Track Lighting
USA TrackBusway® allows industrial lighting fixtures to be repositioned anywhere along the busway, just like a power drop. By using the same plug-in connection method, fixtures can be added, moved, or re-spaced without rewiring, conduit changes, or downtime as layouts evolve.
