T40 three-phase Track Busway uses a double-deck assembly of two vertically stacked, prewired steel lengths. The lower deck carries phases A and B with neutral; phase C is accessed through the upper deck. Each piece has built-in endblocks, so separate end caps are not required. T40 uses the steel housing for equipment grounding; isolated ground and 200% neutral are not T40 options.

A three-phase T40 system can supply compatible 1-, 2- or 3-pole tap-offs for the selected loads. Match the tap-off to the equipment's voltage, current, phase, neutral and connector requirements, with protection appropriate to the complete assembly. Use matching T40 joiner inserts and T40 three-phase line feeds. Plan feed locations, joins and protection around the selected supply, loads and approved layout. Follow the product instructions for installation and later changes.
