T225 · 225A TRACK BUSWAY SYSTEM

2-Pole T225 Tap-Off Units

Two phase conductors supply a single-phase, line-to-line load. Neutral depends on the equipment connection.

Three phases + neutral. Select the connection you need.

The standard T225 busway shown is a three-phase, four-wire system: L1, L2, L3 and neutral (N). Its grounded housing provides the separate equipment-grounding path.

The tap-off fitting connects the conductors needed for the unit’s circuit. The supply voltage and selected conductors determine the available voltage; the tap-off does not change voltage.

Fits T225 busway only. Match the unit’s ratings to your supply and load.

T225 2-pole connections & wiring references

These tap-offs fit T225 busway. The system rating is up to 225A per phase, per feed; each tap-off has its own marked voltage, current and protection rating.

Select the phase pair: L1–L2, L2–L3 or L1–L3. The T225 2-pole outlet-box guide includes L6 and L8 connections without neutral, and L14 connections with neutral. Match the receptacle and selected build.

Supply examples

  • 208V from a 208Y/120V supply
  • 480V from a 480Y/277V supply

For 120/240V or 415Y/240V projects, request a matching rated T225 assembly. Supply voltage alone does not establish product compatibility.

T225 tap-offs are factory wired and have no field-wiring terminals. Use the selected unit’s drawings and instructions for the actual connection.

The outlet-box guide covers its listed receptacle configurations. For a drop cord, use the technical documents for the selected drop-cord assembly.

Standard T225 cutaway with the feed cover and busway side removed, exposing the internal conductors and attached tap-off.

The standard assembly carries three phases and neutral. The grounded housing provides the equipment-grounding path.

Model-based cutaway; supply routing is schematic. IG and 200% neutral configurations differ.
