Busway Feed Units
Busway feed units introduce electrical service from a panel, switchgear, or transformer into the overhead busway system.
Unlike tap-off units, outlet boxes, or drop cords that distribute power down to equipment, busway feed units serve as the power-entry products for the run and are available in starter, junction, line, single-phase, and three-phase configurations.
Optional isolated ground and 200% neutral are also available.

Track Busway feeds are the starting point of the system—introducing power from panels, switchgear, or transformers into the overhead busway. Available as end feeds, line feeds, and junction feeds, these components allow power to enter the busway where it makes the most sense for your layout, supporting flexible circuit distribution without rigid conduit runs.
By separating power entry from power distribution, Track Busway feeds make it easy to scale, relocate, or add circuits as equipment and layouts evolve—without reworking the entire electrical infrastructure.
Choose Your Type of Busway Feed Unit
Busway power feeds are available in several configurations depending on how and where power needs to enter the system.
- Starter FEEDs provide a compact, end-of-run power entry point for simple layouts.
- Junction FEEDs offer a non-breakered feed option when overcurrent protection is provided upstream.
- Line FEEDs include integrated breakers to deliver protected power anywhere along the run, supporting both single-phase and three-phase systems.
Select the busway feed unit that best matches your power source, protection requirements, and layout needs.

Busway feed units connect incoming electrical service to the Track Busway run. These products are used where power needs to enter the system, whether at the end of a run, at a junction, or along the run with integrated overcurrent protection.
Unlike conventional pipe-and-wire conduit, where power typically enters and drops from the same fixed location, a Track Busway system separates power entry from downstream power access. The FEED introduces power into the system at the most practical point, while the busway allows power to be distributed farther along the run and tapped where it is actually needed.
This separation helps reduce conduit, simplify layout changes, and support future system expansion. Optional isolated ground and 200% neutral configurations are also available.
