This single-phase breakered line feed brings facility power into a compatible 40A USA TrackBusway run. It supplies two phase poles, A and B, plus neutral on one deck, with factory-installed breakers for local control. The neutral is separate from the two protected phase poles; the fitter has three electrical contacts (A, B and neutral).
Choose a 20A or 40A breaker configuration and a galvanized, black or white finish. For the double-deck single-phase arrangement shown below, use two separate line feeds: one for each deck.

Single Deck: One Single-Phase Feed
One breakered line feed supplies A, neutral and B on a single deck. The illustration shows a 120/240V single-phase supply and the 40A-per-circuit version. Select the breaker rating required for the installation.
Double Deck: Two Separate Single-Phase Feeds
Two separate 40A line feeds supply the two decks independently, with A, neutral and B on each deck. This example uses A and B from a 208Y/120V supply: 208V between A and B, and 120V from either phase to neutral. This is a two-feed single-phase arrangement; it does not place C on the upper deck.
