How to Choose

Use 10 ft sections for the main run where possible. Use 5 ft sections to finish shorter runs, make layout adjustments, or match project dimensions. Choose the conductor configuration that matches the feed and tap-off requirements.

T225 Busway Certification

cETLus Listed configurations are available within this T225 product family. The T225 system is evaluated by Intertek to UL 857 and CSA C22.2 No. 27 under Control No. 5011082 and Report No. 106508638CRT-001.

What This Component Does

225A Track Busway straight sections are used to build the main overhead busway run. Select 5 ft or 10 ft sections, then choose the conductor configuration required by the project: Standard, Isolated Ground, 200% Neutral, or 200% Neutral + Isolated Ground. These sections are intended to be combined with compatible 225A feeds, joiners, hangers, end caps, and plug-in tap-off units.

Planning Multiple 225A Runs?

For larger layouts, 225A Track Busway lengths may be used across multiple coordinated runs, zones, or protected sections. Splitter-based planning can help organize how a larger incoming feeder is divided into downstream 225A Track Busway paths, subject to the upstream source, overcurrent protection, conductor configuration, load calculations, and project-specific electrical review.

Caution: This does not increase the ampacity of a single 225A busway run. Each T225 run remains rated 225A per phase.

What Else You Need

  • Compatible 225A power feed unit
  • Electrical joiners where sections connect
  • Suspension hangers for overhead support
  • End caps for open run ends
  • Plug-in power drops or outlet boxes
  • Layout drawing or BOM for larger systems
  • Splitter Layout Planning, when multiple coordinated 225A runs, protected sections, or higher total project distribution capacity are needed

Conductor Configuration Note

225A / T225 conductor configurations can include Standard, Isolated Ground (IG), 200% Neutral (N2), and 200% Neutral + Isolated Ground (N2IG) where specified and supported. These are project-specific conductor options, not default features on every USA TrackBusway product.
Coordinate the selected busway length, power feed, tap-off units, voltage system, project drawings, load calculations, and electrical engineer requirements before ordering.
Review grounding and conductor configuration guidance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Planning a 225A Track Busway Run

A complete 225A Track Busway run typically includes straight busway sections, a power feed, joiners, suspension hangers, end caps, and plug-in tap-off units. For larger layouts, USA TrackBusway can help prepare a bill of materials, drawing set, and splitter-based layout review where multiple coordinated 225A runs, protected sections, or feed points are required.
