This protected 3-pole outlet-box tap-off plugs into the T225 Track Busway system. It supplies three-phase branch power from the overhead busway run for industrial equipment, critical-power loads and higher-capacity plug-in power access.
The PT225 tap-off family includes cETLus Listed configurations evaluated by Intertek to UL 857 and CSA C22.2 No. 27. These tap-offs are for the T225 continuous plug-in busway system.
Intertek Control No. 5011082. Intertek Report No. 106508638CRT-001.
Compatible NEMA receptacle configurations are available up to 60A. Enclosure options depend on receptacle count, breaker type and the selected monitoring features:
Total connected receptacle load cannot exceed 60A per phase across the tap-off unit.
Integrated overcurrent protection is available by configuration:
Optional monitoring configurations may include Schneider Electric PM5000-series or HDPM6000-based monitoring for metering, alarms or power visibility.
Units use standard equipment grounding through the enclosure and housing ground. Isolated ground (IG) receptacles are available when specified and supported by the selected build. IG does not replace equipment grounding.
Units ship factory assembled and ready for installation. One or two mounting tabs secure the unit to the Track Busway slot, depending on enclosure size.

Choose the three-phase supply and neutral arrangement:
A three-pole branch uses three line conductors. Configurations with neutral add a neutral conductor.
The documented standard-interface branch selections are 20A and 30A. Standard and isolated grounding apply only where listed for the selected interface and build.

Documented enclosure body dimensions:
These dimensions exclude projecting fittings and required installation clearances. The exact configuration determines which enclosure applies.
Listed configurations include compact single-receptacle and standard two-receptacle builds where supported. Check the selected data sheet for the receptacle quantity and corresponding branch protection.
Applicable listed configurations include PM5000 or HDPM6000 monitoring and 60A industrial interfaces. Confirm these builds against their factory documentation:
The standard-interface drawings do not establish these builds.
Select the power, electrical and build options above. The Selected Technical Configuration will show a matching one-page sheet when available.
For a configuration awaiting confirmation, use Request Configuration-Specific Data Sheet. The family guide explains selection scope. A representative body illustration does not establish the exact finished assembly.
For related planning information, compare receptacle options, find installation instructions in Technical Downloads, or design your Track Busway system.
Standard equipment grounding through the enclosure and housing ground, where listed for the selected interface and build.
An isolated-ground conductor arrangement where supported by the selected receptacle, build and project design. An IG option is not a substitute for equipment ground.
Compare receptacle and grounding options
This factory-assembled T225 outlet box tap-off unit can be specified with standard equipment grounding or isolated ground (IG) receptacle options where supported by the selected electrical configuration and receptacle build. Some buyers describe this requirement as a “dedicated ground”; confirm whether the project drawings call for isolated ground, equipment grounding, or another project-specific grounding approach.
USA TrackBusway does not sell loose standalone receptacles. Receptacle options are provided as part of the compatible factory-assembled tap-off unit.
For projects involving 200% neutral (N2) or 200% neutral + isolated ground (N2IG), coordinate the tap-off with supported 225A / T225 busway lengths and power feed conductor configuration. Final selection is subject to project drawings, load calculations, voltage system, and electrical engineer requirements.
