The 240V PowerDrop Cord delivers single-phase power from a compatible 40A USA TrackBusway run through a 2-pole breaker and flexible cord to equipment below.

Choose live ends, an L6-15 or L6-20 twist-lock receptacle, or a 6-20R straight-blade receptacle in galvanized, black or white. The displayed price and SKU reflect the selected receptacle and finish.

For T40 40A Track Busway (40A per feed). T40 identifies the compatible busway system, not this tap-off’s amperage. Select the tap-off’s own current rating, voltage, pole count and protection from its specifications.

Select A and B - Standard for a compatible single-deck 120/240V system. The two hot conductors supply 240V through a 2-pole breaker; this branch does not use neutral or require a whip. For a 208V connection on a double-deck three-phase system, use the 208V PowerDrop Cord.

The illustrated 120/240V single-phase supply feeds the busway through A, B and neutral. The powerdrop cord connects across A and B through its 2-pole breaker to deliver 240V. Neutral is not connected to this branch.
