The 208V PowerDrop Cord delivers single-phase branch power from a compatible 40A USA TrackBusway system through a 2-pole breaker and flexible drop cord.

Choose a finished L6-15 or L6-20 locking connection, or a 6-20 straight-blade connection. Galvanized, black and white finishes are available. The displayed price and SKU reflect your selection.

For T40 40A Track Busway (40A per feed). T40 identifies the compatible busway system, not this tap-off’s amperage. Select the tap-off’s own current rating, voltage, pole count and protection from its specifications.

Phase Connection

Select A and B - Standard for a compatible single-deck system or the two lower-deck phases of a double-deck three-phase 40A system. Select B and C - Whip to connect lower-deck B and upper-deck C. On a 208Y/120V supply, both configurations deliver 208V line-to-line through a 2-pole breaker; this branch does not use neutral. The whip version includes the whip and adds -WP to the part number.

Choosing your phase connection

A and B - Standard: Connect to lower-deck phases A and B.

B and C - Whip: Connect to lower-deck B and upper-deck C with the included whip.

Both supply 208V between phases. Whip-version SKUs end in -WP.

Standard Wiring: A and B

The illustrated single-deck connection uses phases A and B from a 208Y/120V supply. The standard version also accesses A and B on the lower deck of a double-deck three-phase 40A system. Both phases feed the 2-pole breaker; this 208V branch does not use neutral.

Double-Deck Wiring: B and C with Whip

The whip connection takes phase B from the lower deck and phase C from the upper deck. Both phases pass through the 2-pole breaker to supply 208V line-to-line; the part number ends in -WP.
